Who we are
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry.
2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.
Our Motto: Sharing our faith in Jesus Christ with those who don't know Him, and strengthening the faith of those who do.
How Blind Faith Started: While spending time at boat ramps and out hunting, a buddy and myself noticed that people were longing for something more than just the pursuit of game. Personally, I felt the need to do more than just hunt when I was out there.
While driving down the road one day, the name Blind Faith came to me, and I knew it was the perfect name for our outdoor ministry. It reminded me of the story of Paul on the road to Damascus, where he had to be blinded in order to truly see who Christ was.
Just as predators are deceived by the tactics we use to hunt them, Satan uses deceit to try and trap us.
1 Peter 5:8 (KJV): Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
In the hunting blind, we use the best decoys, camouflage, and calls to deceive and harvest our prey. Similarly, Satan uses distractions to pull us away from God’s path. While it might be hard for some to see God, it’s clear that every creature on earth has a predator. What makes us any different?
Our Purpose: We aim to bridge the gap between the church and the outdoors, showing people that it’s possible to serve Christ while enjoying the outdoors. It's not an either/or situation – it’s about serving God in everything we do.
Our mission is to reach the men the church has been missing. These men—hunters, outdoorsmen—are meant to be spiritual leaders, but many are absent from the church. It's not just men, though. More and more women are joining the ranks of hunters and outdoors enthusiasts, and we want to connect with them too.
While our vision is big, on a smaller scale, we simply want people to prioritize their faith in everything they do. Whether it's in the duck blind, deer stand, at work, or at a ballgame, their faith in Christ should always come first.
